Shows continue

For those seeking their fix of agricultural shows, there’s a lot to look forward to in the eastern Darling Downs in the upcoming weeks. While the Clifton, Allora, and Millmerran shows have concluded, there are still several more lined up for March and April.

First up, on Friday and Saturday, the 8th and 9th of March, the Pittsworth Show promises a range of festivities including traditional favorites along with unique attractions like lawnmower races, a reptile show, rescue horse relay, and performances by the Berryman Band. Visit pittsworthshowsociety.com.au for further details.

The following weekend, on Saturday, 16th March, the Oakey Show, a single-day event, will take place. This year’s theme revolves around ‘Our Backyard – Cattle and Coal’. Explore more at oakeyshow.com.

From Friday, 22nd March to Sunday, 24th March, the Warwick Show will offer three days of excitement and entertainment.

Mark your calendars for the Toowoomba Show, scheduled from Thursday, 18th April to Saturday, 20th April (with Friday being a public holiday).

Finally, wrapping up the season is the Goombungee Haden Show, set for Saturday, 27th April.
