Workers upskill with fee-free training

As part of a collaborative effort between the Federal and NT Governments in training initiatives, Dovaston was granted a contract to offer free training across various skill domains, including Leadership and Management, Project Management, Community Services, and Individual Support.

With 10 individuals already having completed their courses and 21 still actively engaged in learning, 17 recently graduated. On Monday afternoon, those who could attend were honoured with their certificates by Member for Barkly, Steve Edgington, at a celebratory event held at the Barkly Business Hub.

Past graduates also joined the occasion, resulting in a spirited atmosphere filled with applause and heartfelt congratulations for all the graduates and their dedication to their respective courses. These newfound skills are not only assets for the graduates themselves but also valuable additions to the skill pool accessible to employers in the Barkly region.
