Tractors Back at Quamby, March 30

The Quambatook Tractor Pull returns to its home on Easter Saturday, March 30th, marking its 46th consecutive year of high-octane action in the Mallee town of Quambatook.

Witness the raw power of modified tractors as they put the pedal to the metal, pulling immense weights down the 100-meter track. From the 502ci Chev blown fuel injected “Quamby Quaker” to the 2WD Truck 350 Chev “Bizzee B” and the Open Mini Modified 540 Chev, SCS, F106 Rockell “Nutta,” there’s no shortage of excitement.

Quambatook boasts Australia’s first permanent purpose-built Tractor Pulling complex, featuring both big and mini sled tracks side by side. Competitors will showcase a range of modified and vintage tractors, demonstrating their prowess on the expertly prepared track.

Join us in the welcoming rural town for a bigger and better event than ever before. The purpose-built Quambatook Tractor Pulling complex is renowned for its excellent track, providing an enjoyable experience for both competitors and spectators.

Safety is paramount, with trackside fenced hills offering the safest viewing areas. Don’t forget to bring along a rug or chair to enhance your day’s enjoyment. A designated “dry area” ensures a safe and relaxing day out for the whole family.

The competition heats up with the Open Modified Tractors, the Kings of the Track, featuring impressive machines like the “Riverina Screamer” with its twin-turbo 27LT Rolls Royce and “Plum Crazy’s” 3 x 540ci Chevs. The program kicks off at 1:00 p.m., continuing under the lights until approximately 10:00 p.m.

During the evening tea break, pit gates open to the public, providing an opportunity to mingle with the pulling teams. Enjoy live music from Australian Idol contestant Connor Bulger while savoring the atmosphere.

Thrill-seekers will be treated to an aerobatics display by Paul Bennett Airshows, followed by more action-packed pulling under the lights. Don’t miss the spectacle of tractor pulling at night, especially the Pro Stock aka Smoker tractor “Red Devil.”

Off the track, explore a variety of market stalls, kids’ entertainment, and food and drink vendors. Diesel enthusiasts can admire the modern fleet of trucks on display at the truck show, while history buffs can delve into the heritage of farming equipment through the decades.

Be there to witness who will claim the inaugural trophies for “The Red Steer” and “The John Parker Memorial Trophy” at the Australian Tractor Pull Championships on Easter Saturday in Quambatook.

Please note, no glass containers or pets are allowed into the complex, and BYO alcohol is not permitted. Tickets are available at the gate or online via Ticketebo. Follow us on Facebook for up-to-date information or contact Tim Betson or Michael Lindsay for further details.
