Over the weekend, Westpac customers in Tennant Creek faced yet another setback following the closure of the local branch and the subsequent relocation of the ATM. Vandals targeted the ATM situated outside the Tennant Creek Pharmacy, exacerbating the challenges for bank customers in the area.
The motive behind the vandalism remains unclear; whether it stemmed from frustration over forgotten PINs or simply boredom aggravated by inclement weather. Nevertheless, the incident has inconvenienced bank patrons and deprived residents of Tennant Creek access to essential ATM services until repairs are completed.
