Corryong wins the pennant title

The Corryong Bowls Club clinched the Ovens & Murray B4 Division championship on Saturday in Tallangatta with a commanding 88-50 victory over the host team. Finishing atop the ladder with 11 wins, a loss, and two draws during the home and away season, Corryong outshone Tallangatta, who secured second place with a 14-8-5-1 record.

Having triumphed in the qualifying final at home, Corryong opted to contest the grand final at Tallangatta. In a convincing display, two out of three Corryong teams emerged victorious in the final match.

In a heartwarming twist, it was a family affair for Angelo Donadon, whose son Simon, son-in-law Darren Vandervalk, and grandson Toby Vandervalk were also part of the winning team.
