Salvos Anzac Service 2024

Around twenty individuals gathered at the Allora cemetery for the annual ANZAC Day service at 9:30 am, a tradition upheld by the Salvation Army for many years. Among the attendees were descendants of Trooper Peter Jensen, the first returned Allora serviceman who passed away in 1926, including his granddaughter, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

The service was conducted by Salvation Army representative Robert Marshall (pictured on the right), with assistance from Trevor Neale, who laid a wreath in memory of the fallen.
